Here’s The Scoop.
Q: Do you take reservations?
A: Yes we do. Click here to reserve a table!
Q: Can I bring my own food into the restaurant?
A: Nope, no outside food allowed (except cakes! – see below for details).
Q: Is there a cake / dessert fee for outside desserts?
A: Yes – $25. Chef Deb makes some amazing cakes though…so we highly recommend getting it made in house!
Q: Is there a corkage fee?
A: Yep – $15 per 750 ml bottle.
Q: It’s my birthday. What can I get for it?!
A: Humble, aren’t we? Just kidding. If you’re celebrating a birthday, just politely let your server know, and you’ll get a delicious dessert of our choosing (based on availability). We can also hook you up with a candle.
Q: Can we have separate checks? I don’t like sharing.
A: Sure. We need to know before your group orders, and there is a maximum of four separate checks – or we are able to split up to 8 cards evenly.
Q: Do you make donations to great causes?
A: We do! We love to support local non-profits and schools in our area. If you think you may fit the bill, shoot an email to info@thepeckishpig.com.
Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: Yes! Not only do we sell them at the restaurant, you can now buy them online, here. You can buy online and pick up in person, or we’ll gladly mail it to you for the price of a stamp.
Q: What’s the parking situation?
A: There is metered parking all along Howard Street on both the Evanston and Chicago side, payable by card, coin, or their respective apps (Passport for Evanston, ParkChicago for Chicago.) There is also free street parking on the side streets, but please read the signs! Times and days vary, as Evanston side streets require permits after 6pm (we will not be held responsible if you get a ticket.)
